The 1968 lineal list has a Frank P Accomando Major, base pay entry date 1955, commissioned 1956.

Find-a-Grave has him deceased and buried in Idaho, Feb 3, 2010. 22 years USMC, helo pilot. And, yes, he made it to Nam.

Major Frank Accomando did get to Vietnam, and with distinction. He was AMO of HMM 263 when I was XO. Awarded 4 DFC's. Great guy. I lost track of him after that but had heard that he RTB's a few years ago. John
