Subject: Jack "Sparky" Ehrhardt

I am looking to contact "Sparky" who was the sole survivor when his helicpoter was shot down in February 1968.

My best friend all through High School was Cpl. Gerald W. Conner the crew chief who survived the crash but died later of his wounds.

Gerry, myself and another friend, Steve McCarthy were like the three musketeers! Where ever you saw one the other two were not far behind.

In fact Gerry and Steve had joined the Corp on the "buddy system" but soon after basic went in different directions.

I'd really like to hear about Gerry and how he lived his last days.

Thanks,

Ken Errickson
