I am looking for the After Action Reports for HML-167 for months Feb thru June, 1971... I found all previous reports at the Virtual Vietnam site, but not these months. USMC University has:) all reports except these months as well. They seem to have evaperated. I know that MAG16 was transferred from 1st MAW to 3rd MABS in April so that may have something to do with the misplacement.

HML/A-167 has copies (actually they look like originals) of all their Vietnam Command Chronologies in a couple of binders sitting in Ops - at least they did a few years ago. I spent hours sorting them and putting them in document protectors. I don't recall any missing. They may be deployed right now - I'm sorry to say I lost track of the cycle - they are home for six months and then gone to war for seven months. There should be a Lt or Capt in Ops who is the squadron historian - if they can't/don't help you let me know.
