Does any know of the where-abouts of D.C. Hankings. He and I served together in VMO-2 in 1966. The last I saw of him was when he was wounded and medivaced.

Frank, just got off the phone with Don C. Hankins, and here is his information: 8029 County Rd. 15, Centerburg, OH 43011 phone # 740-625-6503 e-mail: shankins@leadmail.net I told him you were looking for him, and he said to tell you to give him a call. There are only two Don C. Hankins with listed phone numbers in the U.S. It took me two calls to find him. I passed on the Pop A Smoke web site to him, now all you VMO-2 guys get in touch with Don, and get him to Ft. Worth. Semper Fi, Allyn Hinton

I saw him back around 1988
I was driving down a back road during an ice storm and ran off the road to avoid a nasty accident. I got out of the car and asked a couple of guys to help me push my car out of the ditch when the accident was cleared. A voice behind me said " Kolat, I'm still pulling your ass out of ditches." I was shocked when I saw him. He is one of those people you never forget.
