Bill Kidd and I were in HML-267 together at Camp Pendelton, then he got orders, I think for VMO-3 and shortly after that I got orders for VMO-6. Not long after I got in country, I had heard he was in a crash and MedEvac'd home and out.
Bill was from southern Ohio, Steubenville. I was able to finally find him and called him, sometime in the mid 70s, but lost him. Does anyone remember Bill or maybe even might know where he might be today.
