I am looking for aircrews, pilots and aircrewmen, who flew two H-34s on 12 July 1965. They were called in to a hot LZ north of DaNang to rescue a team from Company A, 3rd Recon Battalion which was commanded by Captain Frank Reasoner (KIA) who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor and Lieutenant Bill Henderson, XO. Try HMM 161 at this link.
HMM 161 and 163 were the two 34 units active in July of 1965. 163's AA reports and Command Chron's are missing for quite a few of those months..
