I was just talking to a VMO-6 squadron mate re L/Cpl Sanchez. This man was the gunner in the second plane of the section when L/Cpl Sanchez and his fellow crewman were killed in Laos. Prior to launch this man had conversation with L/Cpl Sanchez as he was reading a letter he had just received from home. Apparently, L/Cpl Sanchez's wife had just given birth to a baby boy. This man would like to find L/Cpl Sanchez's son---and time may be an issue.
It is bel;ieved that Sanchez was living in San Antonio, Texas at the time.
Can we get an assist from any guys who may be "on the job"---(cops) out there. I'll do what I can on my end.
