Col Joe, former CO of VMO-6 (1967) resides in Havelock, NC with his beautiful wife, Virginia. Though wheelchair-bound, without the use of his arms or legs, he still relishes the memories of the missions and the brave men he served with over the years. I'm sure he would love to hear from those he served with.

Hello Col. Joe,
Pete Greene here; I was a crew chief during your tour with VMO-6. I'm sure that you don't remember me but we have flown together many times.
I just happen to get on this site and noticed your name and that you live in NC. I wish that I would have seen it sooner as my wife and I were down in NC this past summer, and perhaps we could have swung by and said Hello.
Some of my fondest and proudest memories are of VMO-6 and 1967; certainly one of the most important years of my life. I hope that you and your wife are in good health and God bless.
