Slick, wasn't he our CO in HML-267? He was the Det CO when we took the USS Bellow Wood on it's maiden voyage through the Panama Canal. I was the NCIOC for that one. I lost track of him myself. S/F

Is this Joe Pinson a Maj in HML267 1970. He was a all Marine basketball player about the same time?

Slick, I have a photo of the 267 Det. on the Bellow Wood that I'd like to send him. Can you pass on his contact info? Thanks

Joe Pinson at VMO-1

Capt. Joe Pinson was a UH-1 instructor pilot at VMO-1, New River in 1967...a Dr. Pepper fanatic, he had at least one case in his overseas baggage, maybe more...God bless, and...Semper Fi!

God bless, and...
