Good afternoon,

I apologize for bothering you but I'm currently with HMH-462 in Afghanistan and several of us here are preparing presentations for the 70th anniversary of our squadron on April 26, 2014. I saw this thread https://www.popasmoke.com/notam2/showthread.php?7247-HMH-462-Phu-Bai-40-Year-Reunion and would like to speak with Brian Taber about seeing if I can get a guest speaker to attend from the same time frame as his topic. However, the only problem I'm having right now is getting my account approved so that I can post on his topic. Is there a way that I can reach him outside of the forum through personal email. If you can give him my contact information (this email preferably) it would be much appreciated.

Than you for your time,

LCpl Murphy, Benjamin

Re: HMH-462 - Deployed Marine needs help

I know this is asking for a favor, but would you mind replying to LCpl Murphy's post and saying something to the effect of:

All former members of HMH-462 are invited to attend the 70th Anniversary celebration for the squadron. The event will be held aboard MCAS Miramar in San Diego, CA on April 26th, 2014. We are excited to meet with members from the squadron who created the lasting legacy that we strive to continue. Anybody interested can find more details on our website www.hmh462.org and then click on the 70th Anniversary Celebration tab. Any questions can be submitted to Andrew Dulik either through the website or by emailing him directly at andrew.dulik@usmc.mil. Semper Fidelis.

I would really appreciate it and I will continue to try to work through my issues with logging on. I am starting to think it may have something to do with the network permissions out here in Afghanistan. If there is any other way that Pop A Smoke has of getting in touch with former members of HMH-462 to garner interest for the event could you please let me know?

Thanks again for your help.

Semper Fi,
Capt Dulik
