My name is Doug Hilton and served in Vietnam Dec 67 to Dec 68.
I was grunt with Mike Co. 3rd Bn 7th marines 1st Mar Div.
I'm trying to locate anybody that was flying us out at night off Hill 52 and taking us to Hill 65, SW of Da Nang. Were going to be over-run and about three or four CH-46's pulled us off the hill that night.

We were taking fire as we left the hill and I was on one of the last birds out and the CH-46 got hit a few times and we landed on the side of Hill 65. The 46 was there all night and it was carried out by a CH-53 the next morning.

If anybody has any information on that night please email me at sandyhodge@qwest.net or call me at 602-451-8724. I cant rember the date, I think it was between Feb, March or April 1968. If no one has any info on this night can you tell me where to find it. You guys are the "best" you saved our asses many times and I thank you for your guts and flying skills and all the support you Pilots and Crew gave us Grunts.

Semper Fi, Doug Hilton
P.S. Again, a "BIG THANKS"
