Might anyone know the whereabouts of Phil "Catfish" Whirl? Catfish was a flightline Staff NCO with HMH-463 in the late 70's. I served with Catfish aboard the U.S.S. New Orleans in in 1978. I believe Catfish was born and raised either in North Carolina or Tennessee and served at New River. I suspect he may have returned to his roots upon retirement. Thanks

"Catfish" Whirl
He was at HMH-461 in 1981-82 as the Line Chief when I was in HMH-461's Flight Equipment Shop. I believe he retired in North Carolina. Hopes this helps you out.
