I am trying to find out information on the disposition of Tom. Jack 'Screw' Warner told me he had passed away a few years back from cancer.
Can anyone please fill me in. For those that knew him he was an excellent '34 pilot, and had gone through Pensacola as a MARCAD.
Please post any information or you can send me a PM or email.
Thanks.
TD Wilson
Your query regarding Tom Wilson struck a chord. While I do not know what has become of him, I think I have a b&w photo I took of him boarding a 34 at Quang Tri in early '68. I'm going to try and get that photo and some others sent to the POPASMOKE site as soon as I can dig them out and get them scanned etc.
I too recall TD as a hell of a 34 driver and wrote about him in a couple of news releases I sent out from Quang Tri at that time.

Dear Brooks:
I lived with TD in nam for a year. While I hadn't seem him since '68 several other guys from the squadron saw him and were with him when he passed away from cancer.
Contact:
Carl Bergman (Bergy) bergy@cfl.rr.com
or
Rick Anderton Rhanderton@aol.com
Both of these guys visited TD when he was in the hospital near his final days.

Dear ACCS,
I've got a nice picture of T.D. In the drivers seat of a 34 at Quang Tri. I am planning to put it on the Popasmoke site. I've got another of him climbing up to the cockpit but it is all ass end. I might have another one or two. No smiles, just that T.D. glare!
