Hello. First, I would like to comment on the wonderful site that PopaSmoke is. After only two days of reading it is obvious to see what a wonderful resource this is. I want to thank all involved in it for spending the time to make it such a wonderful place. Great job!

I am currently searching for my father, James Thomas Carino. I have very few details on him, but I'm hoping that what I do have will be enough for someone here to point me in the right direction. I have sent for his military records, but may be very limited on the information that I get back as that I have no proof that he is my father, other than my mothers word.

Details:
James Thomas Carino
D.O.B - 4/21/1947
USMC - E4
Specialty - 2531
Served in VietNam 1967 (?) - 1968-9 (?) *Mom can't remember exact dates*

I know that he grew up and graduated high school in Redwood City, CA. He has also spent much of his life there. In fact, the latest search that I performed stated his last address as Redwood City in 2002.

After VietNam he spent a little time as a DJ before becoming a stock broker. (NY & CA) (From what he told mom at last contact)

*Possibles*
Wife - Emily P (maiden - Chavez?)
2 (or more) kids.

I don't know what unit (is that the right term?) he served with, or what exact location.

I know that this isn't much, but anyone who has any information that may lead me to him, please reply. Finding him is something that I must do.

I hope that I'm not out of place saying Semper Fi
