George, I'm trying to find two CH53 pilots that crashed at Vandergrift Combat Base in April, 1969. I was a Marine grunt assigned to Lima 3/9, 3rd MarDiv. One of the pilots had a large gash to one of his thighs, and the other pilot lost his right eye, I believe. Me and three other grunts pulled them from the burning chopper. We never heard what happened to them after we were choppered out to the "bush". Semper Fi Fred
