I was Sgt. of the guard sometime in the spring/early summer 1967 when Gen. Lewis Walt's Huey crashed after the tail rotor struck a chain link fence around the LZ. I am interested in any and all information related to this incident. I am in the process of fileing a PTSD claim w/ the Veterans Administration and need some kind of proof that the crash actually happened. Thank you in advance for any help and thanks for the rides in Viet Nam (in and out) and your service to our country.

The pilot was Kerry Massari VMO-2. Tried to make a backward takeoff from the pad and didn't make it!!
The last address I have for Kerry is from an old pop-a-smoke directory--

Kerri and I went thru flight school together as MARCADS. Went to HMM-161in '66 and transfered to VMO-2.
Hope you have better luck finding him than I have.
