Certainly "One of a Kind" Not only near 24,000 flight hours but 96 & still answering muster !!! I was honored knowing Henry early 1954 when we were both Senior NCOs at MWSG 37 El Toro. He was than flying R4Q Shuddering Shit house of that time. Our CO was LtCol C.C. Campbell an X NAP from class 6M-1931. Henry opted to be a Marine Aviator in Aug 1942 from the NAVCAD program. I was than 3 months into my 6 month AMM course at NAS Jacksonvill Fl . In previous post here other stories of his career was listed. Several of you here flew with Henry in later years & know about that period. Just imagine Near 24000 flight hours is about 3 years in the air !!! Doubt any miliary Aviator has or will top that !! I look forward to talking to Henry on his 100 th birthday !!! Semper Fidelis PM
