Retired SgtMaj looking for info. Quick search of MAF Command Chronology shows HMM 364 crash 21 Jan 1971. Didn't see any others.

If anyone remembers sometime late January/early February 1971 (after many of your tours I am afraid) a CH-46 being hit returning from an operation in the Arizona and crash landing on Hill 55 please e-mail me and let me know. The VA is denying me a claim because I cannot prove it happened without at least 2 statements from other individuals. These are the same people who never saw a day of combat, go figure.
