Guys, I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Patrick Herlihy today at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum where we are restoring an old H34. Patrick's uncle was Cpl. Charles P. Tutthill, a Marine combat photographer killed on Oct. 8, 1963.
Patrick's uncle sent home a photo album just a week prior to his death and Patrick allowed me to bring my pc and scanner to copy some of the photos. We are going to meet again so we can take his uncle's SEVERAL photo albums apart and scan them for maximum quality. This must be done to do justice to the quality of the photos.
I will whet ya'lls appetite with a small group of Cpl. Tutthill's incredible photos. Our interests should be piqued by the fact that Tutthill was KIA on an H34 in a SOG op.

I swear there is a BOOK in these photos. Will post more later as we get them scanned.
Patrick's email is pat_573@hotmail.com
Please contact him if you have information about his uncle or the incident. He and his mom are interested in learning more of Cpl. Tutthill
The photos in these albums are eye-popping good quality.
