We are coming to a close on our deployment. We will be returning to the
states this month. I would like to say thank you for all the support
that we have received. I cannot express the gratitude from all the
Marines. During our deployment we all looked forward to mail calls
because of your support and the support from the Marines and Sailors
from Pop a smoke.

I have tried to write all the members that have sent us packages over
the course of the deployment, but if you could please express our thanks
to all members.

We are closing another chapter on the mighty Ch-46. Upon our return to
CONUS we will be standing down HMM-264 and standing up VMM-264. We are
the final CH-46E squadron on the East Coast, so this will be a
significant event.
