Our Sheltie is named "Wilson" after the volleyball.

Our daughter got the dog after seeing the movie and thought it would be a neat name.

You've maybe seen the movie "Castaway", where Tom Hanks played a FedEx employee
who was stranded for years on a remote island, struggled to survive, and struggled to
hold onto his sanity by talking to a volleyball he named " Wilson ".

Do you remember the FedEx box that survived the plane
crash, and which Hanks felt compelled to deliver?

If so, did you ever wonder what was in that box?
Well, attached is a FedEx commercial that answers the question!

now you know

Mike wouldn't that be a bummer. I didn't get to see the movie yet, so this is the 1st I've heard of it. It would be a good one for sure for me to see. Had a radio and all to be rescued, in the package. Totally unexpected for sure. Thanks there. Semper Fi, and READY-APP.

Ace.,this flick is Tom Hanks is one his finest hours. It has it's sober moments.,but most of all it is hilarious & it actually has a happy ending.Well worth viewing.
If ya can't get a copy to view.,let me know. I've got a copy of it that I bought a few yrs. ago that I'd gladly let you have.

castaway 'alternate ending'

Craze, I had tried to post -that it was a fickle finger of fate for sure, but the machine chilled out, and jumped off line as I was just about to hit post. That is most kind of you there for sure. The address is John E. Hunt-908 west Main St. Antlers, Ok. 74523. Very kind of you to send it. I would appreciate it. I believe the weather is going way out of control, like barry. Glad its just close to three months left of cold weather. In the summer when it was 107 outside, I had it a nice 76 inside with the va's heat pump/A/C. Keeping it on 79 now, but I'm in trouble when the power goes off. Goodness. I believe a number of us will be. Semper Fi, and READy-APP.

Dale I would believe Mike has several back-ups, or downloaded to his machine. Good thought though. Semper Fi, and READY-APP.
