If anyone is looking for something to read get the book by Gunny Nick Popaditch, "Once a Marine".
This is a story about a career Marine (Gunny Pop) who was wounded in Iraq with an RPG to the head. Took out one eye and all but 8% of his vision in the other eye. He was forced to leave the Marine Corps and make his way in civilian life.
Met the guy last week and had a chance to talk one-on-one for about 30 minutes, and he is indeed inspiring.
