The kids were planning ahead for the new baby and was buying needed baby clothing and items for a new baby but all was lost. I am in the process of making a baby cradle to replace the one they lost. Hope to have ready for travel on the 9 July.

Skipper, On 17 June a flash flood swept through my grand daughters home in Ardmore OK. It is fortunate that Demarus and daughter were not home at the time. Devon a former Marine and Afghanistan veteran was home with my first great grand son Jeremiah, 2 years old. Devon tried to flee the flood waters but was unable to start or gain entry to his truck. Started to wade out carrying Jeremiah, the rapidly raising flood waters washed Devon off of his feet and into a tree, where he lost his hold on Jeremiah who was swept away. Devon almost drowned, he was found clinging to a tree later that afternoon., It was estimated that the flood waters were 30 feet deep when Devon was found. Jeremiah was recovered late the following day after the flood waters had receded about 30 feet from where Devon had lost contact with him. Devon had just lost his job,. no insurance, house destroyed all possession gone. My daughter Lisa is bringing them back to Sierra Vista Az where Devon and Demarus grew up. They are expecting their third child in Sept. Any help will be more than greatly appreciated.
