I spoke to the manager, and the error in flag etiquette was promptly corrected.

Ray,
good on you.

When I was in Okinawa I suggested to the Principal of Kubasaki High on Camp Butler that they replace their flag because it was unserviceable. Actually did him a favor and mentioned it twice.
After the second time he got a call from the school superintendant to replace the flag. Needless to say he wasn't happy with me, but then again at the time I wasn't looking to make any new friends

WHO NEEDs Friends LIKE that anyways. Maybe thats why our Kids don't know the History,Math and Engish.....

Not only was it Flag Day, it was the US Army birthday.
I am a state employee with the Arkansas National Guard.
These Army folks sure don't celebrate their birthday like we do. They don't even have a cake.
