As you local DFW folks know...on display just inside the Main Gate at NAS, Ft. Worth is a H-34. The Name on the pilots side reads "MAJ GEN W. H. GOSSELL. General Gossell lives here in Dallas (Farmers Branch). He contacted me and requested that we assist him in moving the H-34 from NAS Ft. Worth to Cavanaugh Flight Museum and begin restoration on the bird. It has been neglected and is in pretty bad shape from corrosion. Cavanaugh is ready and willing to accept the H-34 if I can guarantee that the manpower and knowledge is available for the restoration work.

General Gossell is pushing the paperwork through to have the Helo released to Cavanaugh.

Anyone interested??
