Greetings,

We would like to inform the members of TFTPTF of a new project we recently launched. We are currently seeking photographs from families, service members and civilian employees who were at the base. The purpose of the gallery is to attach names and faces to the people and families who have been affected by this tragic event aboard Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base. We are not just names, numbers, cancer patients or sick people. We are the neighbor next door, down the street and in the community at large. We are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and children who in one way or another served our country only to be forgotten. Having our photos on the website will make this real for the thousands of people who have and will continue to visit our site.

We respectfully request that you send in photos of you and your family members while they were at the base to photos@tftptf.com. Please attach them and include comments of a caption if you wish. We will post the photos in the gallery.

We are excited about the recent changes in the website. In just a few short months we have doubled our membership. This weekend we will be posting the first part of our annotated Camp Lejeune Chronology. The chronology is annotated with the document numbers where we researched the content of the entry. It will be a useful tool to help the media and members of Congress understand the unfiltered events that occurred aboard the base during the contamination. We will also post all prior Marine Corps versions of their “official” timeline. I am sure you will find the comparison between the two documents just as fascinating as we have.

Finally, we encourage you to get involved. Talk on the bulletin board and share your stories, develop ideas and find ways to contribute what you can. One of the things we will need in the near future is people who are willing to help electronically sort and place PDF files in chronological order for the 15,000 Cercla documents Mike Partain will need to review for the second installment of the time line.

As always, we welcome your ideas, suggestions and comments. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance.

Andrea, Mike, Jeff, Mary & Jerry
