The attached article appeared on the front section of yesterday's New York Times.
Corporal Conray and Lance Corporal Murray have certainly earned my descriptive title.
So have countless others.
I see an analogy here with our Vietnam era helicopter Crew Chiefs and the First Mechs: low pay, long hours. crummy living conditions, risk of life and limb, and an exremely important and rewarding job in the Marine Corps.
And then there is the leadership that got them there, both then and now. Read to the end to learn about Marine Corps marksmanship!
