Admittedly, the attached article has nothing to do with Marines.

However, it says a lot about the continued creative use of helicopters for different missions.

Imagine flying this as either a pilot or crew member!

Could we have cleared an LZ with this thing?

πŸ˜€ The power company had one of these clearing right of ways around my farm a few years ago. The crew chief is on the ground in a support truck and goes ahead of the plane w/fuel, etc. It was pretty cool watching the guy trim (ex Army WO). The crew chief came by here and wanted to know if they could land in one of my fields and refuel. They did a hot fueling and on their way, no wasted effort.:eek:
