Besides the redesignation/relocation of VMM-363 in May, several other squadrons have redesignated, deactivated or relocated in the past month. HMM-265 was redesignated VMM-265 June 1st at Futenma. It will be the first MV-22 squadron in 1st MAW. HMLA-367 transferred from MAG-39 to MAG-24 on 15 June. Finally, VMM-561deactivated 6 July at Miramar after 19 months of service.

561 brings back memories of LTA in 1969 when they were the last operational unit flying UH-34ds and took 'em to Yuma, then the boneyard at Tuscon....
