I do not normally comment on items such as this, but this time I must,Peralta a Marine Sergeant grabbed a hand grenade and sheilded other Marines with his body and in doing so gave his life, in looking back at some of the decorations I have personally seen,... (portion deleted by moderator)...., and then I see a man who only served one year in the Air Farce turn down a real hero.doesn't figure!!! Seems I remember a senator who jumped out of a chopper to stay with an outpost and drink some beer and his own hand grenade got him, and he was highly decorated and claimed to be a big hero, but he wasn't a Marine, guess it makes a difference.

Everyone needs to write their representatives about this. I believe the medical examiner isn't always right. Especially when it comes to the bond of warriors and their dedication to look out for their brother/sister.
