SAN DIEGO -- A USMC helicopter made an emergency nighttime landing in Rancho Penasquitos, a Marine Corps Air Station Miramar spokesman said Wednesday.
The landing occurred in an area west of Interstate 15 around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, Staff Sgt. Leonard Langston said.
None of the four people on board were hurt and damage to the aircraft, a CH-46 helicopter, was minimal, he said. The mishap behind the emergency landing was under investigation.
