Just got off the phone with the CO of HMM-364 at Camp Pendleton. Every helicopter pilot on the base and Mirimar is interested in getting together with us at the Camp Pendleton O Club (Sharky's) on Friday Feb 8 at 1500. This is not just a Purple Fox reunion, but a reunion to share our VietNam experience with the current Frog and Huey/Cobra drivers. Even the CG is interested and excited on getting together on this.
I NEED YOUR HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 As you can see from the addresses on this e-mail it is limited. Please get the word out to every Pilot you know that would like to join us on this. LtColMark Schrecker, CO of 364 will coordinate this event, has reserved the O Club for this event and will provide for passes onto the base. This is going to be great because the current crop of pilots most if not all have been flying missions in Iraq, are very interested in the missions and type of flying we and the Huey pilots flew in VietNam. Again all H-46 pilots and Huey/Cobra pilots from Pendleton and Mirimar right up to the CG has been invited and a lot of excitment according to Mark has been generated
