I was on one of your helos in-country on January 21 1971 when it went down somewhere near hill 37. It seems like it was a CH-47. Anyway, my VA psychiaterist has recommended several times that I apply for PTSD benefits, but I do not have a CAR or purple heart. I was with the 1st Radio Batallion out of DaNang. If anyone out there has any information about this, please contact me if you would care to help.
