While at Ky Ha one of our replacement helicoptors came from a Navy ship that had been used for Sea and Air Rescue. It was painted the prettiest color of orange. Before it could be repainted our squadron, HMM-363, colors it had to go on a mission as it was, ORANGE! I bet the enemy must have thought the Marine Corps was up to some special trick when they saw it coming their way? Does anyone else remember this event?
