Howdy. Some of you know we are doing a static display restoration in Dallas/Addison, Tx.

We want to display the emblems of every squadron that flew 34s in Viet Nam.

I know how pissed off folks can get if there is a mistake, so I need to hear from each squadron coordinator or otherwise-designated boss hog as to which squadrons flew the 34 in country and which emblem you want displayed.

I'm also designing a challenge coin which will also have all the squadron emblems arranged in a circle around the EGA. The outer ring will have the name of the squadron.

This is going to be a kind of variation of Lt. Col. Piglet Pecina's personal challenge coin that he sent me last year. - see attached image HERE.

To recap, I need:
Squadron - example: HMM362
Squadron name - example: UGLY ANGELS
Squadron emblem: here I need you so send me a copy of the chosen emblem. I intend to strip off the scroll work from top and bottom of each emblem to make the emblem as large and readable as possible since the name will be arranged along the coin edge.

Purple Foxes, this is going to be displayed at a museum, so the GIVE A SH*T part is verboten!

Also at this LINK is a very rough working image of the new coin to give an idea of what I'm working up.

My email is YL3CC@YAHOO.com

Hello?

thump...
thump...
thump....

Hello?
Is this thing on?
Quick, somebody call me a defibrulator.
"OK, you're a defibrulator"

I'm rather underwhelmed at the responses that haven't poured in!

I'd make a wise crack but I'm just as old as the rest of you guys.

Need some feedback.... 'kay?

Oy, vey!
Where's Henny Youngman and Don Rickles when you really need them?

Is this a museum, or a mausoleum?

130 all Models H34 VNAF

I remember four Years of H34s as many as 130 (CH34C, UH34D, UH34G, MAP H34) in 4 Squadrons of VNAF Danang, Nhatrang, Saigon & Binh Thuy. In four years 1964/1968 I think I flew in all of them at least once. SF PM

I have a few friends in Addison TX that may be interested in contributing some time.

Where is the restoration happening?
