My name is Gary Parker & I served in Vietnam from 1967 till 1969. I was with the 3rd Shore Party Bn working as a Helo Support Team radio Opr.(HST). I don't remember much about my last 8 or 9 months in country, but I will never forget my time in Khesanh, especially my time on Hill 881s & Hill 861a. I got to Khesanh the 25th of Decenber 1967 and spent 4 months on both hills. I will never forget the conversations that went on with me and your pilots over asking and begging to get our kia's & wia's off the hills. You guys NEVER let me down! Day or night. Now if I could only get some of the last words I heard while waiting for the medivac's out of my head, I'll be OK.
P.S. You medivacked me too in April.
