I am about done scanning Charles Tuthill's photo albums he sent home a week before his death in an H34 incident in 63. He was a Marine Photograper attached to 1MAW in Da Nang so a good number of the photos are of exceptionally high quality.
His nephew allowed me to take the albums apart to get them thru the scanner. He is quite interested in comments from the guys of the era as he never knew his uncle. He works at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison, Tx. where we are restoring the old H34 for a static display.
I will get my ass in gear posting more of the photos over the next few days.
I will pass comments to Patrick and he can share them with his mom - Tuthill's sister.
