At 1130H on 15 August 1967, YZ-65 (150240 ) a UH-34D from the Lucky Red Lions of HMM-363 encountered heavy enemy fire. Both the Co-pilot, 1stLt William H. Elmore 9092056) and the Crew Chief, Cpl Gregory D. Wells (2183281) were wounded.
