I just got back home to Town.
My most sincere thanks to Mr. Stanton for all his efforts. Same to the Hail family for making it all possible. THREE H34's flying to gether!!!!!!!!! Damn! That smell, that sound, all that rotor wash! KD Logue's eyes kept rolling back in their sockets. Nice to see Col. Hewes sitting back against the hangar bay doors enjoying himself.
Everyone there made my daughter, Amanda feel like she was part of a big family. She was really thrilled at the experience, although she didn't get much studying done on her ultrasound tech. homework.
The 68/69 raggie crowd of Logue, Cormier, Wilson, McNair, McNair (yes, there are two Bill McNairs) had a great time if I may speak for the whole bunch.
Somebody needs to send me the phone number or email of the present HMH363 CO so I gan get Mrs. Hail a new squadron patch for their collection., please.
For such a loner as was I in the 60's, I sure did enjoy being in such great company.
Thanks to all,
Bill and Amanda McNair (Texas McNairs)
Bill

Tulsa Mini Reunion
This weekend the Uglie's of HMM-362 had a mini reunion in Tulsa, OK. and was sponsered in part by the graciosness of Gerald and Lillie Hail. We had three UH-34D's in the air at the same time.
YL-75 in honor of Archies Angels, and YL-37 and YL-38 from the later generation of Ugly Angels. All of the Pilots were given an opportunity to fly in the left seat, and most did. All other members were give a flight around the pattern a couple of times. this included our dependants as well, my wife was overjoyed to have the chance to fly in the old dog. A very good time was had by all. I will attempt to attach a photo of the three 34's flying past our crowd.
