My name is Richard E. Edgar. I live in Redwood, NY. I was assigned to HMM 263 at MCAS-New River, NC and went to Viet-Nam in 1965 and was stationed at MMAF. I was later transferred to Chu Lai with then S/SGT Shiro Fukunaga my NCOIC. I was an A/C Structural Mechanic and flew as a window-gunner on the H-34 during my tour in Viet Nam. I was honorably discharged in 1968. I am interested in contact with anyone who might have been in either unit at the time. Especially M/SGT Funkunaga.
