Thanks
Flew at least two of these, 153372 and 153994 in support of HMM-770 at Whidbey Island, Wa and a couple more are familiar maybe in 165/164 in country.
If memory is right 153372 was first "D" to go thru "E" mod and spent time at the RWTD at Pax River as a test aircraft.?

I flew, and probably abused, 153368 and 153372 in Vietnam in 1967-68 flying with HMM-364 out of Phu Bai. They likely flew into the battle of Hue City during the 1968 Tet Offensive and into Khe Sanh during the siege. Those airframes must be getting awfully tired by now. My old frame sure is.

Al you must not abused 153372 too much, She had a small break about 2 years of reserve duty then late 73 or early 74 to Boeing for "E" mod and I know spent some time at Test Center NAS PAx Riv possible as late as 82 and then next I saw her in 90/91 with HMM-365/MAG 29 coming off a Med float.
