Thanks Jake. Can you get the info to Frenchie to post or go there to the HMM-262 Forum to give the guys the scoop on the next squadron reunion?

There are no helicopter on any of our squadron patches, just tigers and rotor blades.

The HMR(L)-262 patch was designed by Mike Leahy. I believe he said he'd done the designs for all the original MAG-26 squadrons back in the early 50s.

Great History

That it is Lurch. Every Reunion I'd get to go to, I'd stock up on the patches. Made Alan have to make a bunch of them to replace what we'd buy. Bet the Crew Chiefs Union was a good one for sure. Semper Fi, and READY-APP.

I got the pix of the patch from Art Templeton who was in the squadron in the beginning. He has cruise books and lots of other stuff from the time. I'll pass on the designer info to him and see if he remembers.
