I just got a call from Dave Papageorge, and he told me he is in a hospital in W. Palm Beach after suffering a "heart attack" last week. He sounded fine, and is still in the diagnosis mode to find out what really happened. An echo cardiogram is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 12. You Florida guys might want to look in on him.

Dave Papageorge's Condition
I just got another call from Dave, and his open heart surgery will be tomorrow (Tuesday Jan. 13). The diagnosis is a bad heart valve. I will keep you posted as to his condition.

Pappy is baaaaack !!!!
Gentlemen,
Jenny and I went to see Pappy and Leslie. When we arrived at the hospital he was having all of his hydraulic lines removed. So after a short wait, we were able to spend some time with him in the Hangar (CV-ICU). The Maintanence Crew (doctors and nurses) are amazed at how well he came through the entire engine overhaul.
When I was down and out last April, Pappy took a picture of me and posted it on the internet. So, this is payback. But, you can see how well he looks, especially compared to the day of his engine flame-out. He is no longer pale and he's just as feisty as ever.
You may want to re-send your emails to him (papag@bellsouth.net) Leslie's computer has crashed and has dumped all their emails. I relayed as many of the comments to which I was privy, but I'm sure he'd rather hear them directly from you. We'll go back and check on him this weekend.
