😎 All you Tigers have we gotten any information on the plan's for this Reunion??
Hope those who are going or planning will use this to check IN. Even if you won't be able Check In anyway and let us know how things are going. That way if people show up and ask about someone we may be able to share with them and lots of people Happy! JJ 🙂

Okay JJ, David "Butch" Powell checking in,
I will be there with my wife, Sue, my son, David Jr., and a good friend, who calls me his 2nd Dad, Veteran Marine officer Erik Flores and his wife Margarita. How is that for a crew to have aboard?

Good to hear your having a good group come. We still plan on the trip just got to keep things togather until then. Have not heard any thing on the 262 part yet ,Jake had told me he'd have something the 1st of july. Maybe I have miss him with the mad house we been having. JJ Later

I have not heard about HMM-262 yet. Jake is probably planning it all right now. For Popasmoke reunions it is not as hard to plan since the hotel, reunion, etc. is already planned by them. All he has to do is put together the squadron dinner and plan the hootch out a little. As far as I am concerned the squadron dinner can be a simple thing at some place to hangout with a sandwich.

I'll be there with my wife and her brother and sister in-law, he's an Army tanker Nam Dogface. They hail from Dave and Wolf's area Scottsdale, AZ.

It sounds like we are going to have a big turnout so far for HMM-262. I know of 19 Tigers just from a count I made the other day, and that doesn't include spouses, family, and friends.

I remember the first time I heard that voice saying "Squat Thrust Forever." We were in the sand at MCRD San Diego in the sand. We dug holes in the sand higher than our bodies in the down position.

Kind of got caught up in everything this time and didn't get on the phone as I have done in the pass. Sure wish I had been able to do that ,so that there would of been more attending. Feel real bad to think it could made a difference for some. God Be with ALL that will be able to come and Have a safe trip. JJ

Don't feel bad, feel good and show up for the reunion. The ones that want to come will show up. San Diego in 2000 was one of the best reunions and I think this one will be great.

Dave and Sue Great to see you and the PACK.....and have time to share as we fed our faces. I believe that most had a good time and will have great PICTUREs of the Aircraft.!!!!!!!!

Take care of yourself, Sue and I, my son, friends Erik (Marine officer Desert Storm) and his wife, Margarita, had a great time. They took a lot of pictures and put them up on Facebook. We also went to see the Midway AC in port on Sunday with Erik and his wife Margarita.

Well ! Here is the guy with 9-10 Stents now and 3, 50% ers 2 that are in 1 branch. Will be back to see Doc in 5-6 weeks to see how I'm doing. Back off and take it easy ,start walking 15min at least a day. Slowly!!! Dale and Tim! If I keep having discomfort in the chest will be looking at other choices. Thanks Larry!
