Dan Hahne here.

I will be relinquishing command of HMM(T)-164 at 1400 on 7 May 04 and would like to invite all of the local -164 Alums and any other Pop-A-Smoke folks who would like to attend.

With your permission, I will send you the electronic version of the
invitation when we get it and ask you to forward to the same folks as you invited to the Memorial Plaque Dedication Ceremony.

We have the memorial plaque hung on the bulkhead in the main topside passageway. It anchors one end of our "Hall of Heroes".

All continues well. We have been awarded the Ellyson Award for Aviation Production Excellence for the second year in a row; third time since -164 assumed the Fleet Replacement Squadron mission in 1999.
