Just thought I would let you know. Steve Kemmerer under went open heart surgery (triple by-pass) yesterday morning at Tacoma Gen Hosp. He is doing fine, actually better than average. He was not up to visitors yesterday and not sure about today. He is heavily medicated. He has been ill with kidney stones for a while and had not been working in his yard as much as he likes to. About three days ago he over did himself by cutting two hedges. He started with lack of stamina and what he thought was acid reflux and then the pain radiated down his arm. He went to Tacoma Gen by ambulance and here he is today. Suzanne is doing fine as well. She has had a lot on her plate though with her mom (89 years)and now with Steve. Steve is in Tacoma General Hospital Coronary Care Unit ICU. In time he will likely be seeing visitors but for right now he is pretty well out of it and in a lot of pain.
