Sad news. Bob fought through his Multiple Myeloma but he passed on 11/26/2013…Bob’s wife, Diane, and their family had been with him and provided excellent support during these last few weeks.

Bob was a career Marine and served in Vietnam in ’66-’67 with HMM-163 as a crewchief. Bob attended Popasmoke Reunions and reconnected with many of us who knew him in-country. Final services are pending and will take place in Oakland, CA.

Update for Bob Ashbaker’s Obituary and Final services. Penny and I are planning on attending.
