A VMO-6 monument has been erected in the Semper Fidelis Memorial Park, National Marine Corps Museum, Dumfries, VA to memorialize the 66 squadron members killed in combat operations: Nicaragua (1928), WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. A memorial service and monument dedication ceremony is scheduled on 17 May 2012 in conjunction with a squadron reunion on 16-18 May. Details are at http://vmo6memorial.homestead.com/ .
