Regarding the mention of Chicago as a possible reunion site.... I canno think of a less favorable site than a major city such as Chicago.
Members are more and more sensitive to cost as the cost of living keeps rising and more of us join the fixed income roles all the time. DC was expensive, but being the nation's capital, it was most appropriate and enjoyable for the 08 event. I enjoyed DC more than any reunion that I have attended since 2000.
Chicago offers all the exorbiant expenses as DC with none of its military and national history attractions. I don't know ANYONE who actually LIKES O'Hare Airport.
We need the midwest added to the rotation of our reunions but major cities like NYC or Chicago only serve to jack the costs sky high for our members. We of 362 were able to set our squadron Friday dinner meal tickets in Fort Worth and DC at a budget-friendly $25 each. We need to chose mid-size cities that offer squadron coordinators resonable cost options.
I have no interest whatsoever in attending any kind of gathering in Chicago and will definitely opt out if that city is chosen for 2012.

Agree with all.
Chicago - thumbs down.
I will probably attend no matter where the board has the next reunion - I've missed too many, but would like to see cost held to a minimum so assure a good turnout.
