Vietnam Era
Yesterday’s Heroes, Today’s Good Men
Our Agenda for Thurday the 17th, Friday the 18th, and Saturday the 19th of September 2009 at Pensacola Beach, Pensacola, Florida.
“WHY” THE GATHERING AT PENSACOLA?
To bring those that served together in Vietnam with the Lucky Red Lions of HMM-363. To renew old friendships and the camaraderie we shared in combat. We cannot do this with civilians or Marines of another era, we only know what we share with those in which we served.
Thursday the 17th: Welcome Aboard! Refreshments and snacks served at the patio area available all day and evening. Find your own chow that evening.
Friday the 18th: Refreshments and snacks available all day and evening.
1:00 p.m., we will have a caricature artist available, so have a cartoon type drawing of yourself done and laugh a little.
Approximately 5:00 p.m Hourdourves of shrimp, cheese, vegetable, and fruit platters will be set out for all hands to enjoy. Find your own chow that evening.
Saturday the 19th: Refreshments and snacks available all day and evening.
10:00 a.m. At the Wall: Weather permitting, there will be reading of our brothers names that were lost over there. The names of those brothers that have passed on since we returned will also be honored.
4:00 p.m. We will hold our raffle drawing for squadron plaques, aviator sunglasses, and one BEAUTIFUL UH34D model done in Squadron logo.
Key Speaker after raffle is completed.
